Biography
Started playing guitar at the age of 9. It became clear music would be important in my life on February 9, 1964 when I saw The Beatles.Along side touring with the Hooters and band commitments, I always did projects "outside" of that sand box. My adventures lead me into creating scores for numerous theater productions, choreographers, indie films, industrials, national TV commercials
Brent is a professional double bassist and composer, arranger, and creator of film scores. He recently contributed additional music to Night Stalker, a #1 Netflix true crime series with a score by The Blair Brothers, directed by Tiller Russell. His works have been performed by members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, Winnipeg Symphony, and others. In addition to be being a his compositional duties, Brent works behind the scenes as an audio engineer, enhancing the quality of our music.
Started at the piano early on, mom thought it was a good idea. Changed my focus to composition and learned almost every instrument I could get my hands on, cause I enjoy the creative process. Music lessons are a lot like life.....you get what you give. Lots of solo time in the studio help to reflect on life....music is my expression.
